NAIPTA - Security

Mountain Line's fleet of buses are each equipped with security cameras for operator, customer, and public safety concerns.

Your security is one of NAIPTA’s top priorities. We take every precaution to keep your trip safe. Here’s how you can help by being the eyes and ears of the system:

  • Be aware - If someone riding near you forgets a personal item, help them by reminding them to take their items with them.

  • Be informed - Know the location of emergency phones and phone numbers, call 911 for all emergencies in the NAIPTA service area.

  • Be alert - Report any suspicious behavior or persons in unauthorized areas or unattended packages to your bus operator or law enforcement immediately.

Bus security is a high priority at NAIPTA. Pictured: Flagstaff Police Officers train for possible emergencies aboard one of Mountain Line's buses. In that spirit; NAIPTA, too, is poised for action in the event of an emergency as part of the community Emergency Operations Center (EOC). In June 2006 the center was activated for the Woody Fire; during which time Mountain Line and Mountain Lift paratransit operators were placed on standby to evacuate possible victims of the fire disaster.
